AVEKS Ethical Principles

The priority of Aveks İç ve Dış Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, which is engaged in the supply of raw materials for industrial production and steel, is to fully comply with the laws and contractual commitments of the countries in which it operates and to act in accordance with generally accepted ethical codes of conduct.

Ethical principles, which are based on “truthfulness” and “honesty”, are a set of indispensable rules established to manage the relations between the company and all its employees, customers, stakeholders and other third parties, to protect resources, and to increase service quality and efficiency.

Purpose and Scope

The main purpose of the Ethical Principles of Aveks A.Ş. is to establish rules of conduct to create a common corporate culture on business ethics and to raise awareness among our employees and stakeholders. In this direction, it is aimed to guide the employees of Aveks A.Ş. and those acting on behalf of the corporation to act in accordance with the laws and business ethics in the decisions they will make and the behaviors they will show while performing their duties.

Within the framework of the Ethics and Compliance Program, the Business Ethics and Compliance Principles Handbook and ethics and compliance policies have been established for all Aveks A.Ş. employees, parties acting on behalf of Aveks A.Ş. and business partners.

Through the Business Ethics and Code of Conduct Regulation and other ethics and compliance policies, it is intended to set out;

• Ethical principles and core values of Aveks A.Ş.;
• Commitment of Aveks A.Ş. to uphold these ethical principles and core values in the conduct of its business.

Aveks A.Ş. is responsible for conducting its activities in accordance with the Business Ethics and Compliance Principles Handbook and other ethics and compliance policies with all its employees, including its management bodies. Third Parties are expected to act in accordance with these regulations and policies in their activities.

Obligation to Report Violations and Ethical Principles Reporting Hotline Aveks A.Ş. Ethics Hotline

Any action of any employee of Aveks A.Ş. or Third Party in violation of the Business Ethics and Compliance Principles Handbook or applicable legislation may damage Aveks A.Ş.’s reputation and pose a danger to the working environment. Therefore, if an employee of Aveks A.Ş. or Third Party witnesses or suspects any violation of any regulations or ethical principles, they are expected to report this situation to AVEKS ethics and compliance reporting channels without delay.

Aveks A.Ş. takes all reports seriously. All reports received are kept as confidential as possible, unless there is a legal obligation to do so.
